Maximus Forum

The objective of this forum is to contribute to open discussion and sharing on emerging HR issues. Fundamentally HR is a philosophy though over a period of time many processes, tools have been developed to make HR a science.

The emergent nature of HR reiterates a few beliefs.

• While the fundamental philosophy is human, wider perspectives shaped by cultures, economy, growth and the lack of it have thrived.
• While intuitive ideas were born many of them were developed in to an art, tool or process through discussions & sharing in wider forums.
• Owing to the nature of the HR context (people driven) the challenges for organisations are unique, each requiring a customised solution. Exchanging ideas leads to shaping of an intuitive thought in to useful idea!

Hence we have promoted the Maximus Forum among the HR community to contribute with new paradigms through experience sharing. The forum is open to all people who are practicing people processes, not necessarily the HR managers or the HR qualified!

The forum works like this:

One of us posts an interesting idea, article or a question on a contemporary HR issue. Readers contribute by adding their comments, experience sharing .

We also believe we can contribute to the development of HR community by providing some food for thought! In our attempt to stimulate your reading we are providing pioneering thoughts from world leaders by way of articles or books in our Reading room. This contains links to both articles and books, which we found interesting and hope you too would!
